Malangani Camp sits right on the edge of the serene Malangani Dam, blending comfort with the beauty of nature.
The open-plan dining room and bar has an inviting en-suite chalet attached, while an open outdoor terrace with seating and a small braai area makes the ideal spot to unwind after a day’s fishing. Two additional chalets, each with twin beds, are set a short distance away — perfect for families or groups. Here, every moment comes with a view of the water.
A modest yet well-equipped kitchen — complete with gas stove, utensils, and all essential cooking items — caters to your self-catering needs. Daily laundry service is provided for your convenience.
Minimum stay is 3 nights. Strictly only 6 adults per booking.

Additional charges are:

Should you wish to pay in Zimbabwe currency, kindly contact the Bulawayo office. Due to circumstances beyond our control, ZiG payments will have to be paid on the first day of your booking at interbank rate plus 10%.
- Kindly email proof of payment to michele@bvczim.com quoting name and invoice number.
- Cash payments will only be accepted at our Bulawayo office. No cash will be accepted in camp.
- Please note we only accept payment from one person per booking for accounting purposes.
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking with full payment being made a month before arrival.
- Full refunds will only be given if the booking is cancelled a month before arrival date.
- Deposits will be forfeited for non-arrivals and last-minute cancellations.
Kindly familiarise yourself with the following terms and conditions which should be adhered to.
The camp hire charge of $60/day covers generator costs & staff, including a cook, waiter, chalet staff & someone to assist in daily chores. The camp is fully equipped & linen is provided for all chalets. Extra small children over and above 6 adults, may be accommodated only by special arrangement with the management.
- – On arrival, a group indemnity form must be completed with names and signatures of individual guests in the group.
- There is no fuel for sale on the BVC so please ensure you carry enough fuel for your requirements.
- Laundry service is only available for long stays, on request.
- Conservancy roads are well maintained but a vehicle with high clearance/4-wheel drive is recommended.
- Ice will be available in camp.
- Bass caught on a strict “catch and release” basis.
- Unlimited bream to eat in camp.
- Clients take home catch is strictly restricted to 10 fish per person per night booked.
- Clients must remain within the boundaries of Malangani Section. You are free to drive within its boundaries, but no walking due to presence of buffalo & other dangerous game. On arrival at camp, no groups or individuals are permitted to drive into the main conservancy under any circumstances. Kindly do not interfere with safari operations or management activities.
- Please note this is a Malaria area so precautions need to be taken.
- Camp kitchen equipment, glasses etc. are not to be taken on boats or game drives.
- It is an offence to pick up or remove any animal/animal product from the Conservancy
- Littering will not be tolerated.
Kindly ensure that guests are respectful of camp amenities, staff & other guests. Malicious damage to property will be for the client’s accounts Tips are a sign of appreciation and good service. Should you feel so inclined, please tip our staff directly at the end of your stay.
