Activities
Outdoor activities are associated with a wilderness area and are done at the client’s own risk.
Activities may include (but are not limited to):
- Walking
- Rock climbing
- Fishing
- Game drives
- Mountain biking
- Bird watching
Documents Needed
- Driver’s Licence – Send a photo to Michele
- Vehicle Type – Send to Michele
- Vehicle Registration Number – Send to Michele
- Direction of Arrival onto BVC – Call the Gate Guard before arrival
- Boats – Send boat trailer registration number to Michele
Boats
The camp does not provide boats for hire.
All boating activities are at the client’s own risk and responsibility.
Charging Boats at Night
Electrical outlets are available for charging boat batteries.
Bookings
All bookings are handled through one designated person only (correspondence purposes).
Dam Size – Malangani
201 hectares
All campsites are located around the Malangani Dam. Boating and fishing activities are limited to this dam.
Power / Generator
The camp operates on a generator and solar system.
- Generator runs for 12 hours per day
- Please use power responsibly
Pets
No dogs or pets are allowed.
Drinking Water
Available on request.
Fishing Rules
- Fishing allowed from land and private boats
- Bass fishing is strictly catch and release
- Limited fish may be taken on departure day
- You may consume fish freely while at camp
Fuel
No fuel is available on site. Please bring enough for your trip and return journey.
Game Drives
- Use your own vehicle
- Only permitted in the Malangani area
- No game drives in Big 5 areas
Generator Usage
Limited to 12 hours per 24-hour period. Please adhere to this limit.
Ice
Ice is available.
Internet
No Wi-Fi available. Limited 3G signal in certain areas – ask staff for assistance.

Available on request.
Pool
There is no swimming pool at the camp.

Tips
Tipping is optional. If you wish to tip staff, please do so directly.
Tents
Tents are allowed for additional guests.
Maximum of 6 adults in the main accommodation.
Departure Time
Departure is strictly before 10:00 AM.
Pre-Baiting
We do not offer pre-baiting services, but you are welcome to do it yourself during your stay.
Important Notice
We DO NOT sell fishing safaris.
We provide bush accommodation only and do not support onward selling of fishing safari services.

- Mattress available for children if needed
